My personal mission statement.

I strive to be a good person, to do selfless things for others no matter how big or small. I value honesty, hard work and treating people with kindness. I have strong beliefs and I hope to show those beliefs through my actions, rather than just words.

My orientation towards life is to be a ray of light in the darkness. I strive to always be prepared for any situation life can throw at me and to react with grace and kindness. I am responsible and independent.

On a personal level, I am a hard worker who loves giving back in any way I can, whether that be by helping family members at home or assisting a stranger.

In the work context, I would like to help at risk youths to better themselves and to help them out of whatever dire circumstances they may have found themselves in. First and foremost, I hope to be a leader that radiates warmth and helpfulness. I want to be the kind of leader members of my team can come to without hesitation for any help they need.

I believe that my personal strengths are being reliable, kindhearted and openminded. As for my personal talents, I am proficient at writing and many art based mediums.

discuss the characteristics of the perspective of a competent human being presented in the excerpt.

(Excerpt: The theory of human personhood advocates interdependence, where the term, ‘person’ means that the self has meaning when it is in a relationship with others and the rest of creation (Klaasen, 2017). This perspective holds that the community makes the person and that the person's moral achievement is defined by the ethic that emphasises sensitivity to the interests and well-being of other members of the community, though not necessarily to the detriment of individual rights.)

Compotent human being: Orientations of life, perception, personal mastery, constructs of the salutogenic functioning, perspectives of a competent human being.
